As a key worker, you will provide day-to-day support to youth, facilitating their personal and social development. With a focus on Indigenous culture, your role involves teaching life skills, transporting youth, and engaging them in enriching activities. You will ensure a safe environment by addressing their basic needs and contributing to individualized service plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist youth in reaching personal development goals
• Teach life skills in line with cultural practices
• Supervise and participate in developmental activities
• Drive youth to necessary school and recreational appointments
• Implement and evaluate service plans and policies
Requirements:
• Certificate in Human Services or equivalent
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in group homes
• Completion of background checks as required
• First Aid, CPR, and crisis intervention training
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract
Support youth in achieving their goals while honoring cultural roots as a Youth Worker II.
