Position Summary e4c is seeking compassionate, resourceful, and relationship‑focused professionals to join our Youth Housing Services team. You will work collaboratively with participants to identify strengths and address barriers, mentor them on positive landlord relationships and tenancy responsibilities under the Residential Tenancy Act, and help build the skills needed for sustainable independent living.
Schedule Monday to Friday; 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Some flexibility in scheduling is required based on program needs
Key Responsibilities Provide individualized, trauma‑informed support to youth to promote housing stability, well‑being and independence.
Build relationships with landlords and property managers to secure rental opportunities for youth.
Conduct intake, assessments and referrals to identify strengths, barriers and housing needs.
Assist participants with goal setting, budgeting and developing life skills, including tenancy and landlord relations.
Coordinate and connect participants to community resources, services and funding supports.
Conduct home and community visits, including accompanying participants to appointments and activities.
Build and maintain relationships with participants, landlords, property managers and community partners.
Facilitate service team meetings and support collaborative, wraparound service delivery.
Maintain accurate documentation, data entry and reporting in alignment with program and organizational requirements.
Qualifications Education Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Care (CYC), Social Work, Human Services or related field.
Certification Suicide Intervention
Standard First Aid and CPR
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence and vehicle
Proof of vehicle insurance (minimum 2 million liability), registration and 3‑year driver’s abstract
Experience 1+ year experience supporting marginalized, high‑risk or vulnerable populations; experience with youth and Indigenous communities is an asset.
Knowledge of social services, harm reduction, sexual exploitation, trauma, addictions, mental health, homelessness and Indigenous culture.
Experience de‑escalating crises and managing potentially volatile situations, including individuals under stress, influence or in mental health crisis.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse populations.
Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, database applications and general computer operations.
Compensation And Benefits Competitive Salary: $47,840.00
