Join McMan as an Outreach Worker in Wetaskiwin focused on PSECA, aiding at-risk youth and families. Engage in vital advocacy and crisis support within your community.

As part of the Protection of Sexually Exploited Children Program, you will play a crucial role in educating families about their rights and resources available to them. This full-time position is dedicated to providing care and building relationships to reduce the risk of exploitation for children and youth, employing a strength-based approach in service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advocate for youth rights under PSECA

• Help families access community resources

• Conduct crisis interventions as necessary

• Raise awareness via presentations and workshops

• Maintain proper documentation and records

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Human Services required

• Minimum of 3 years in family work or youth services

• Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driving record

• Basic First Aid Level C certification needed

• Understanding of Indigenous cultural issues an asset
