Community Liaison Worker at enCompass

Support individuals transitioning back to the community with en Compass as a Community Liaison/Recreation Worker. Provide essential support and organize engaging activities in a safe environment.

The Community Liaison/Recreation Worker will operate within the Journey Home program for adult males with Not Criminally Responsible Disposition (NCR). This crucial role involves fostering a supportive atmosphere and equipping clients with daily living skills while facilitating their gradual reintegration into society. Your expertise in human services will be essential as you collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address clients' unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set specific goals addressing risk factors with clients

• Deliver services in a client-centered, strength-based manner

• Complete documentation, data collection, and assessments

• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings regularly

• Maintain a safe and clean home environment

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in human services with experience

• Valid First Aid/CPR certification

• Class 5 Driver’s License (No GDL)

• Strong communication and relationship building skills

• Criminal records check must be completed
