SIL Outreach Worker

Make a difference as a Supported Independent Living Outreach Worker with Catholic Social Services in Edmonton, AB. This full-time position focuses on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to access community resources and thrive.

Join a dedicated team at Catholic Social Services, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. This contract role, ending December 27, 2025, may require some evenings and weekends. You'll utilize your communication and problem-solving skills to support individuals in improving their daily living and integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outreach support to adults with developmental disabilities

• Monitor and review individual progress regularly

• Establish connections with community resources

• Assist with appointments, transportation, and financial support

• Manage a large caseload with independent reporting

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Human Services or related field

• Minimum 1 year experience with developmental disabilities

• Vulnerable Sector Check required

• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Current driver’s abstract with less than six demerit points
