In this role, you will report to the Program Coordinator and provide essential support to children aged 0-17. Your responsibilities will include maintaining a creative approach while ensuring their safety and dignity. Previous experience with marginalized youth and understanding mental health will significantly benefit your contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guidance and supervision to children in care
• Document case notes and complete necessary paperwork
• Support youth in developing independent living skills
• Attend routine staff meetings for collaboration
• Role model healthy behavior and lifestyle choices
Requirements:
• Related post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of mental health and Indigenous culture
• Experience working with marginalized youth
• Communication and relationship management skills
• Successful completion of Police Record Check and CWIS check
