SIL Outreach Support Worker

Become a SIL Outreach Support Worker with Catholic Social Services in Edmonton. Engage individuals with emotional support, enhancing their independence through community connection and life skills development.

In this full-time role, you will provide individualized support, assisting clients in overcoming challenges and accessing vital resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support hours as per PDD budget

• Monitor and report individual progress regularly

• Complete detailed case notes after every contact

• Establish community connections to support clients

• Assist with daily living tasks like medical appointments

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• 1 year of experience with developmental disabilities

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

• Satisfactory security checks including Vulnerable Sector Check

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
