Enhance community living for adults with disabilities as a Full-Time Outreach Worker in the SIL program through Catholic Social Services in Edmonton, AB.
This role offers a flexible schedule and collaborative work environment.
As an Outreach Worker, you will facilitate access to community resources and assist individuals in developing their daily living skills. Your motivation and strong problem-solving skills will greatly benefit those you serve, empowering them to achieve regular activities. Expect to work a mix of weekdays, evenings, and weekends in this contract role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outreach support to adults living semi-independently
• Assess and monitor individual progress within the community
• Help arrange appointments and transportation for clients
• Conduct report writing on client development
• Engage in enjoyable recreational activities with clients
Requirements:
• Human Services Degree/Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year experience with developmental disabilities
• Vulnerable Sector Check necessary
• Reliable vehicle with Valid Driver's License required
• Driver's Abstract clear of significant demerits
