Youth Caseworker at enCompass NOVA

Take on a rewarding role as a Youth Caseworker in en Compass's NOVA program. This full-time position focuses on supporting young individuals in achieving stable, independent living arrangements.

As a Youth Caseworker with en Compass, you will work closely with youth between ages 16-24 to help them transition out of homelessness. With a maximum caseload of six, you will assist in goal setting, expanding service access, and promoting healthy life choices. Familiarity with substance recovery and a strength-based approach is crucial for effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist youth in establishing and updating goal plans

• Foster positive relationships to encourage recovery

• Participate in life skills workshops and training

• Conduct initial intakes and maintain program records

• Ensure residents have adequate food and a clean environment

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Human Services or related field

• At least 2 years working with marginalized communities

• Strong skills in counseling and mediation

• Flexible and self-directed work ethic

• Must pass Criminal Record and Child Intervention checks
