Make a difference with e4c as a Youth Housing Support Worker. This full-time role focuses on providing trauma-informed support and building essential life skills for youth in need.
Join e4c's Youth Housing Services team to empower marginalized individuals and help them achieve stable housing. This position emphasizes compassionate mentorship, fostering positive landlord relationships, and addressing barriers to independent living. You will conduct assessments, assist with goal setting, and coordinate community resources to support youth effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized trauma-informed support for housing stability
• Build relationships with landlords for rental opportunities
• Conduct intake and assessments to identify housing needs
• Assist with budgeting and developing life skills
• Facilitate service team meetings for collaborative support
Requirements:
• Degree or Diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related field
• 1+ year experience with marginalized populations
• Strong communication skills for diverse interactions
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and vehicle
• Certification in First Aid, CPR, and Suicide Intervention
Utilize your social service experience and interpersonal skills to support vulnerable youth towards independent living in this vital role.
