Part-Time Caseworker Position

Nisa Homes is dedicated to promoting independence through a culturally sensitive approach. In this part-time position, you'll work with clients to assess their situations and connect them to vital resources. Providing ongoing emotional support and facilitating women’s empowerment are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate crisis intervention and emotional support for clients
• Conduct client assessments and ensure proper case management
• Help clients secure access to transitional shelter services
• Create and implement safety plans addressing client needs
• Document and maintain accurate client case files
Requirements:
• Relevant Degree or Diploma in human/social service field
• Minimum one year related experience in casework
• Strong communication, listening, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience in crisis intervention methodologies
• Reliable vehicle and First Aid/CPR certificate are assets
