KDFN is seeking a Pathways Program Coordinator dedicated to improving community wellness via education, training, and employment initiatives. This role requires familiarity with harm reduction frameworks and the ability to engage effectively with community members facing complex needs. You will utilize your communication skills to foster meaningful connections and promote holistic support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement initiatives to support community members' wellbeing
• Manage outreach and case management processes
• Facilitate programs that enhance cultural connections
• Develop action plans for individuals with diverse needs
• Maintain ethical and culturally sensitive service delivery
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or comparable lived experience
• Experience with Yukon First Nations or community development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Yukon education system history
• Valid class 5 driver’s license and First Aid certification
