This permanent role in the Court and Justice Services Division requires mediation expertise and strong knowledge of Family Law. You'll conduct pre-mediation assessments, engage with clients, and provide them with the necessary support to ensure smooth transitions post-conflict.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess cases for mediation appropriateness
• Facilitate pre-mediation discussions and resource sharing
• Deliver non-evaluative and client-focused mediation
• Write summaries of agreements for all parties
• Consult with stakeholders regarding mediation suitability
Requirements:
• Minimum 180 hours of relevant mediation training
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or similar
• Familiarity with mediation techniques for family conflicts
• Effective organizational skills for complex case management
• Experience in applying technology for client communication
