This vital role allows you to engage with families navigating parenting and guardianship issues. You will provide a facilitative approach to mediation, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for all parties involved. Your expertise will facilitate successful resolutions and help families adapt to their new circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
• Screen and qualify mediation cases effectively
• Prepare parties through pre-mediation assessments
• Utilize an ethical, client-oriented mediation style
• Document agreements and assist with transitions
• Participate in community outreach and collaborative efforts
Requirements:
• 180 hours of training in mediation or conflict resolution
• Related degree with practical experience preferred
• Expertise in conflict resolution skills for high conflict situations
• Proven ability to manage sensitive family matters
• Familiarity with remote mediation technologies
