Position: Intensive Child Development Specialist Role
Become an Intensive Child Development Specialist at Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society, contributing to the growth of young children in Edmonton through expert, in-home support. Your expertise will guide families facing developmental and emotional challenges.

This full-time position at the Kikosewin Hub requires delivering specialized services to approximately 25 families. You will assess their developmental needs and collaboratively design individualized support plans that emphasize relationship and cultural grounded practices. This role encompasses both documentation and transition planning to ensure families continue receiving necessary support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake and eligibility assessment for referrals

• Create individualized care plans based on family collaboration

• Deliver consistent in-home support tailored to family needs

• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting for program requirements

• Connect families to ongoing community and cultural support services

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or related discipline

• Experience working directly with children and their families

• Knowledge in trauma-informed, culturally sensitive practices

• Availability of a reliable vehicle for transportation needs

• Successful completion of background checks and First Aid/CPR certification
