You will work closely with children facing complex behavioral needs, utilizing patience and creativity to foster safe environments and healing relationships. Your responsibilities will include mentorship, crisis intervention, and collaboration with program supervisors to tailor individualized therapeutic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust through engaging activities and mentorship
• Guide youth during crises using role modeling techniques
• Support children’s emotional needs through accountability
• Organize games and teach life skills promoting joy
• Document daily activities and observations diligently
Requirements:
• Passion for youth support with complex needs
• Experience in youth care or social work is a plus
• Patience and creativity in challenging situations
• Understanding of trauma-informed care
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
