Recreation Assistant

Position: Optima Living Recreation Assistant Role
Optima Living is looking for a passionate Recreation Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life through therapeutic programs. Your creativity will help foster connection and purpose in our vibrant community.

In this role, you will work closely with the Recreation Manager to execute innovative programs tailored to our residents at Optima Living. You will be responsible for planning activities that promote social and emotional well-being, conducting assessments, and maintaining documentation. Your involvement directly impacts the lives of residents, ensuring they experience dignity and joy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver personalized recreation programs

• Maintain accurate documentation and resident progress notes

• Collaborate with team to assess individual resident needs

• Assist with special events and recreation activities

• Ensure safety and cleanliness of recreation areas

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in recreation activities

• Knowledge of CPR and First Aid procedures

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work well with a multidisciplinary team

• Clear Police Information Check required
