In your role as a Recreation Aide, you will help develop programs under team guidance, support resident transportation, and continuously monitor their needs and interests. You will lead activities, assist newcomers with orientation, and ensure a welcoming environment that encourages social interaction among residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing recreational programs and procedures

• Set up and manage activity areas effectively

• Observe and monitor resident interests and interactions

• Keep detailed program records and report participation

• Foster social connections through assigned activities

Requirements:

• Experience with seniors and know-how to motivate them

• Understanding of leisure and recreation principles

• Computer proficiency necessary

• Must possess a valid driver’s license

• Successful completion of background checks required
