The Position:This is a permanent full-time position within our In-Home Program, supporting an adult participant in West Edmonton near the Hamptons area of the city. The position requires you to have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle as the work schedule varies. For the first two weeks of the month you will be scheduled to work Tuesdays to
Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.Last two weeks of the month you will be scheduled to work T
uesdays to Saturdays from Noon to 8:00 PM
.
This is a 45hr/week position. (
* NOTE*: you will work some Mondays instead of Tuesdays due to family's work schedule.)
The Community Specialist (CS) will be reporting to the assigned Program Manager. As a Community Specialists (CS) you would be an ally and ambassador, you will work front-line and are pivotal to the creation of a safe, caring and community-enriched life for the individuals/families who hire us. Thoughtful program planning and implementation supports participants to connect with their communities - establishing real relationships and creating meaningful days and lives.
The conscientious CS will act with integrity, be open to growth, live our purpose, cultivate teamwork, and put forth an extraordinary effort to empower people with diverse abilities and their families to grow, succeed, and belong.

Compensation $20.39 to $21.42/ hour depending on experience and education
