In this engaging position, you will monitor security aspects to ensure residents' care and advocate for their individual needs. Your focus will be on helping individuals navigate their personal barriers while creating a safe and healthy environment for all. Aligning your work with the NCSA Resiliency Model, you will promote interconnectedness and self-determination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety through monitoring of community security
• Promote resident self-growth in a supportive setting
• Assist with case plans and address individual barriers
• Engage in conflict management and relationship building
• Uphold professionalism while representing NCSA
Requirements:
• Knowledge of Indigenous communities, cultures, and languages
• Awareness of historic trauma's impact on Indigenous people
• Competency with information technology
• Valid Alberta driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Current criminal record and child intervention checks
