In this role, you will need at least 1-2 years of experience in supportive care and an understanding of Autism. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree or certification in social services will be preferred. The work involves 15-30 hours a week and includes driving to various client locations primarily in Edmonton, Beaumont, and Leduc during afternoon hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support for children with special needs
• Engage in meaningful interactions and activities
• Keep detailed records of each child's progress
• Assist in transportation for appointments and outings
• Collaborate with families for effective care plans
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in supportive roles
• Preferred qualifications include Bachelor's or social service worker certificate
• First Aid Certification and Police Clearance required
• Class 5 driver’s license with liability insurance
• Experience with Autism is required
