Disability Support Practitioner

Position: Full Time Disability Support Practitioner Role
Location: Fort Saskatchewan

Join the Robin Hood Association as a full-time Disability Support Practitioner in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. This vital role supports individuals with disabilities across various programs to foster independence and community involvement.

In this role, you will execute individualized service plans, offer training, and advocate for individuals in their employment and social endeavors. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, ensuring a safe environment, and promoting active participation in community life. As a representative of RHA, professional conduct and safety will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in achieving employment and life skills

• Advocate for community access and participation

• Monitor individual safety and well-being

• Ensure compliance with Alberta accommodation standards

• Engage with families and community partners

Requirements:

• Diploma in Rehabilitation or related field preferred

• Valid Alberta Driver’s License with reliable vehicle

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Experience in coaching and mentoring
