Make a profound difference in the lives of youth as a Full-Time Child and Youth Care Worker. This evening role (3:00 p.m.
- 11:00 p.m.) seeks energetic caregivers who can faithfully support children through their challenges.
In this position, you'll become a trusted ally to children facing complex emotional needs.
Your role includes mentoring, setting healthy boundaries, and creating joyful interactions, all while being a consistent, compassionate presence. The position demands creativity, accountability, and patience to navigate the meaningful work of building trust and facilitating healing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trust through positive engagement and mentorship
• Guide youth through crisis situations with intervention strategies
• Document daily activities and observations meticulously
• Collaborate with Program Supervisors on therapeutic plans
• Create joyful experiences through games and activities
Requirements:
• Passion for supporting youth with emotional needs
• Experience in youth care or social work preferred
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care
• Reliable 4-door vehicle and Class 5 Driver's License
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
Support children's well-being and development through your engaging presence and thoughtful care.
