As a Psychologist II at Alberta Health Services, you will lead neurodevelopmental assessments for children with complex needs in the Pediatric Rehabilitation Division. This advanced position requires strong collaboration and utilization of experience with assessment tools such as WISC-V and WIAT-III.
Your role will include consultation, diagnosis, and providing leadership in multidisciplinary settings, ensuring family-centered care and evidence-based practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead comprehensive neurodevelopmental assessments for children
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals
• Communicate diagnostic conclusions effectively to families
• Coordinate various assessment components across disciplines
• Supervise and mentor doctoral residents and team members
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Psychology from CPA or APA program
• Active registration with College of Alberta Psychologists
• Experience in diagnosing neurodevelopmental conditions
• Familiarity with assessment tools like WISC-V
• Comfortable in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting
