Temporary Community Support Worker

Join Excel Society as a Temporary Community Support Worker in Edmonton, Alberta. This full-time, on-site role focuses on client support, medication administration, and maintaining a safe environment.

In this female-only position, you'll work overnight shifts from Sunday to Thursday. Your responsibilities include guiding clients towards their Individual Support Plans, maintaining detailed documentation, and engaging with guardians. Additionally, you'll ensure client hygiene needs are met and contribute to a clean living space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support clients in achieving their individual goals

• Administer medications using the Catalyst system

• Maintain a clean and safe environment

• Assist clients with daily living tasks

• Complete all required documentation thoroughly

Requirements:

• Caring, reliable, and person-centered mindset

• ASL proficiency preferred

• Valid First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate

• Police information check with vulnerable sector clearance

• Experience in disability or human services preferred
