We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team who can develop, maintain, and support enterprise‑level applications aligned with client requirements and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in building scalable, multi‑user, n‑tier, object‑oriented, Web Services, and REST API applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.

* The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Location is CAD $90k – CAD $92k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role:
Application Developer
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy applications with a focus on reliability and performance.
Maintain and enhance existing systems while adhering to standardized development methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, JAD, or RAD.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment in production environments.
Utilize tools such as TFS and Azure Dev Ops for version control and project management.
Write clear documentation and perform software testing and troubleshooting.
Support application deployment and ongoing maintenance in complex, regulated environments, including government‑like settings.
Requirements
You are
Minimum of 8 years of experience with:
Multi‑user, n‑tier, object‑oriented programming
Web Services and JSON REST API development
C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Visual Studio
Hands‑on experience in software lifecycle activities including coding, testing, documenting, and integrating.
Experience deploying and maintaining applications in a controlled, production environment.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, JAD, or RAD development processes.
Proficiency with TFS and/or Azure Dev Ops Server.
Experience working within a government or equivalent environment, managing complex projects.
Preferred, but not required
Web application development expertise using ASP.NET MVC and controls.
Knowledge of SSIS packages, jobs, and troubleshooting.
Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing and deployment strategies.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Tortoise GIT, Tortoise SVN, and MS Azure Dev Ops.
