- You’ll join the Timeclock domain—core experiences that power how small business managers understand, grow, and staff their teams. Timeclock enables employees to securely manage their current shift at their physical work location through a tablet application
- As a Senior Mobile Engineer I, you’ll build high-quality, high-performance experiences on our tablet apps (Android and iPad) that help small business owners reclaim time, reduce chaos, and manage their teams more intelligently
- You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineers to bring features to life and push the boundaries of what our application can do for small businesses

- These are the key ways you’ll contribute and create impact in this role:
- Build, ship, and maintain features in the Timeclock domain that help managers staff shifts, understand their teams, and operate faster on iPads and Android Tablets
- Develop clean, scalable, testable React Native code that raises the bar for engineering quality
- Partner with backend engineers, product, and design to deliver best-in-class tablet features
- Improve performance, reliability, and overall app resilience for our 3.9M+ active workers and managers
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, reduce defect rates, improve test coverage, and streamline workflow automation
- Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, web, data, and AI platform partners to ensure seamless end-to-end system behavior
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to our mobile technical roadmap and raise the bar for engineering excellence across the org

- Expert in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Kotlin Flow
- Advanced understanding of object-oriented design patterns
- Well-versed in all aspects of Java Script
- Experience with testing frameworks (unit, feature, integration)
- Expert in common React Native frameworks
- Strong systematic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Deep knowledge of iOS OR Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Expert in Swift, Swift UI, UIKit, and various common iOS frameworks
- AI Fluency:
Demonstrated curiosity and hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows, debug, generate tests, and improve development velocity - 4+ years of React Native Engineering experience
- Familiarity with Jira, Git, Git Hub, CircleCI, and development via PR workflows
- Strong understanding of performance optimization for mobile applications
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
