Shape the future of autonomous vehicles as an Embedded Software Developer with Zoox. Utilize your embedded systems expertise to design and test innovative power management software.
This role requires a deep understanding of the Zoox vehicle's power systems, including development for charging control and integration of supplier subsystems. You will work alongside various engineering teams to ensure seamless functionality and safety in the vehicle's operation. Your passion for hardware-driven solutions and production-quality coding will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop software for vehicle charging and power management
• Integrate subsystems into Zoox's existing software framework
• Document software requirements and testing protocols
• Collaborate with engineers on power systems integration
• Engage in all aspects of the software development cycle
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering
• 4+ years of embedded software experience
• Proficient in embedded C/C++ programming
• Familiar with microcontroller technology (ARM, PowerPC)
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
