Become a key player on Otter.ai’s Virality & Activation team as a Software Engineer. Focus on backend systems that enhance user activation and drive viral interactions within the product.
Your role involves supporting user growth through effective backend solutions and analyzing user behavior with metrics and analytics. Collaborate closely with product and design teams to implement high-quality features like invite flows and notifications. Participate in ongoing iterations based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop backend systems for onboarding and sharing
• Create analytics events to measure user engagement
• Engage in A/B testing processes for product insights
• Write maintainable, high-quality code for team use
• Troubleshoot and improve existing systems across functions
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science or practical equivalent
• 2–4 years of backend software engineering experience
• Strong skills in Python and Django
• Working knowledge of MySQL and No
SQL databases
• Exposure to AWS cloud services for deployment
