Build scalable test automation with Autodesk as a Senior Software Developer in Test specializing in JavaScript, Type Script, and quality engineering.
This senior SDET role designs reliable automation solutions for applications and complex features beyond traditional UI testing. You will create strategies for backend services, REST APIs, integrations, interactive maps, geospatial data, and dynamic visualizations. The work spans design through release, with ownership of testing initiatives and collaboration across engineering, product, and Dev Ops.
Key Responsibilities:- Design reusable, scalable, and reliable test automation frameworks
- Create automated tests for backend services and REST APIs
- Test integrations and end-to-end user workflows
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot failures and perform root cause analysis
- Six or more years in software development and test automation
- Strong JavaScript and/or Type Script programming skills
- Hands-on Cypress or Playwright automation framework experience
- API testing experience with REST Assured or Supertest
- Strong AWS knowledge, including Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB
