Position: High Performance & Pathway Executive (National Basketball Programme)

The High Performance & Pathway Executive (HPPE) reports to Head of Performance and Pathway and supports the administrative and operational functions of the National Basketball Programme at Singapore Sports School which includes the 3x3 National team and National Youth Development Programme (NYDP). This role is responsible for Administrative (including Finance & Procurement), Operations, Data management and logistical support for the National Basketball Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • 1. Administration Support
    • Procurement of goods and services for training and competitions.
    • Assist with coordination of travel, lodging, and scheduling for teams and staff.
    • Maintain and update team records, documentation, and communication platforms which include admission of student-athletes and national athletes.
  • 2. Operational Execution
    • Oversee daily facility readiness, training logistics, and equipment needs.
    • Provide support during local competitions, ensuring smooth execution of team requirements.
    • Coordinate vendors, service providers, and equipment deliveries as directed.
  • 3. Technology and Data Management
    • Work with Sport Scientist to maintain the National Basketball Programme Athlete Management System.
    • Liaise with staff, Basketball Federations, FIBA affiliates, Sport Sg to ensure accurate data collection and timely reporting.
  • 4. Event and Project Support
    • Support execution of events such as training camps, media appearances, and community engagement activities.
    • Coordinate internal and external communications as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in sports administration or operations is preferred.
  • Familiar with sports technology platforms (e.g., HUDL, Teamworks, or equivalent) an advantage.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in spreadsheets, databases, and scheduling tools.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, Information Systems, or related fields would be an advantage.
