Purpose of the position
The position will (but not limited to):
Support aquatic services to deliver quality programs, services and ensure user’s safety and enjoyment.Perform duties of lifeguard and instructor.Assist with providing quality customer experiences.Create fun and educational learning experiences.Want to be a part of our County team?
To be successful in this position, you will have the following qualifications:
Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard CertificateStandard First Aid/CPR Level C/AED CertificateSwim for Life Instructor CertificateExperience working in an aquatic facility setting (swim club, other water sports, etc.Lifesaving Society Advanced Instructor is an assetExperience teaching swimming lessons is an assetCertified Pool Operator is an assetWork well in a team environmentPossess excellent customer service skillsHave strong lifeguarding and instructional skillsBe well-developed in problem solving, communication skills and public relations skillsIf this sounds like you, please proceed with your application!
Position details
Wage: to hourlyCasual position - as required basis.Hours:
Ability to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays), shift work and split shifts as Aquatics requiresCasuals receive an all access pass to the Bold Centre Multiplex and PoolCompetition Number: 21-LGI-26
