Become a crucial part of Star Building Materials as a Class 5 Delivery Driver in Rocky View County, AB. Deliver top-quality building materials to sites while ensuring expert service.
You will report to the Yard Manager and be responsible for loading, securing, and delivering materials to various locations. This role demands physical effort and excellent communication skills to navigate customer interactions effectively. You must comply with safety standards and complete daily inspections to ensure efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Load and secure building materials onto delivery vehicles
• Deliver materials via the most efficient routes
• Communicate shipping document accuracy upon delivery
• Maintain safety protocols during operations
• Execute daily pre-trip inspections on vehicles
Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 license and driving experience
• High school diploma with basic math and reading skills
• Physically able to handle up to 75 lbs independently
• Satisfactory completion of criminal background check
• Ability to work efficiently in outdoor conditions
