This role offers training for new drivers eager to thrive in a physically demanding environment. Your responsibilities will span route planning, vehicle inspections, and dealing with customer needs professionally. You'll engage in a variety of shifts, ensuring no two days are alike as you transport goods throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Navigate routes effectively using GPS technology to reduce fuel costs
• Perform vital truck inspections and preventive maintenance
• Load and unload freight securely and safely
• Manage fuel consumption and record service hours accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service while on the road
Requirements:
• Class 1/1F/A License to operate semi-trailer trucks
• Must be a resident of Canada with a valid driver's permit
• Capacity to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Strong organizational skills along with a flexible mindset
• Comprehensive training is available for aspiring drivers
