AFD Long-Haul Fuel Driver

Join AFD as a Long-Haul Fuel Driver, based in Edmonton, transporting fuel to remote Northern BC regions and Yukon.

Your role will emphasize fuel safety and excellent customer service.

In the Super B Driver position, you will handle safe loading and unloading of fuel, perform thorough inspections, and ensure regulatory compliance. This role demands precision, safety awareness, and strong communication skills with customers and coworkers. You will manage vehicle cleanliness and conduct minor repairs while adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely manage fuel loading and unloading processes

• Complete vehicle inspections before and after trips

• Refuel equipment on-site from the fuel truck

• Follow all safety and compliance regulations

• Communicate effectively with customers and team

Requirements:

• Hold a valid Class 1 Driver’s License

• Minimum 2 years Class 1 fuel hauling experience

• Experience driving in off-road and winter conditions

• Familiarity with e-logs and phone apps

• Complete physical tests and road test
