Ensure quality vehicle services as an Equipment Operator for the Executive Fleet in Edmonton. This full-time role includes managing operations and providing emergency support for high-level officials.
The Alberta Public Service is seeking a full-time Equipment Operator to oversee executive vehicles, ensuring smooth operations for officials like Ministers and Deputy Speaker. You will coordinate vehicle maintenance, manage repairs, and maintain detailed records while working with vendors. This vital role supports the transportation needs within government protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate executive vehicle services for high-profile officials
• Provide 24/7 emergency support for critical transportation issues
• Schedule and supervise vehicle maintenance, repairs, and cleaning
• Manage warranty claims and ensure compliance with records
• Collaborate with vendors for effective fleet operations
Requirements:
• High school diploma with six months of vehicle service experience
• Valid class 5 driver's license and abstract consent form
• Strong mechanical understanding of vehicle systems
• Capability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
• Experience in a warehouse environment
