The Dock Worker/Forklift Operator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in high-volume warehouse and dock environments, solving loading, unloading, and freight coordination challenges, and working within a fast-paced logistics, transportation, and supply chain operation. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their current experience and career stage.
What you'll do
Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to transport materials between unloading, processing, loading, and storage areasLoad and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, and shelves.Ensure loads are secure and safely transported to designated areas.Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure optimal operation.Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels.Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets.Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors.Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including packaging, labeling, and organizing materials.What You’ll BringPrior experience working as a Warehouse Associate or a Dock worker.A minimum of three years of experience as a Forklift operator.A valid forklift license and other safety tickets.Must have a reliable means of commuting.Ability to operate a sit-down counterbalance, Raymond Reach truck, Propane and electric forklift.Benefits & EnvironmentBenefits for this role include flexible temporary employment with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position, hands-on experience in a fast-paced logistics environment, competitive hourly pay with 4% vacation pay, and a workplace that values safety, teamwork, and professional development.If this Dock Worker/Forklift Operator role sounds right for you, apply today.
