* ** Job Description*
* ** You would be working on a busy, cross-dock*
* helping to load and unload trailers using a Sit Down Counterbalance Forklift approximately 80% of the time.
Other duties involved would be checking shipping documents, working with a team to find the most efficient ways to complete trucks for the night.

** Less-than-truckload (LTL) freight environment.*
* You read printed manifests to accurately load trailers, handle freight

** Responsibilities*
* Read and interpret printed manifests to accurately load and unload trailers in the correct sequence and locations.

** Operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift (Toyota, 5,000 lb lift capacity) safely and efficiently*
* ** Experience Loading and unload LTL freight in a cross-dock environment a must*
* Perform trailer loading in a freight environment, including staging, organizing, and securing freight as required.
Occasionally lift and move freight manually, including items up to 75 lbs, while following safe lifting practices.

** Job Requirements*
* Proven experience as a forklift operator in a freight or warehouse environment, with at least 6 months of experience loading trailers.
Hands-on experience working in a less-than-truckload (LTL) and cross-dock environment.
Valid forklift certification
