Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Safely pick up and deliver concrete powder from Montreal to various plants.
  • Ensure timely and efficient transport of materials, adhering to delivery schedules.
  • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of working hours, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and plant personnel to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that arise during transport.
Requirements:
  • Valid Class (AZ) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial driving, preferably in transporting construction materials.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with all transportation regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently.

Wage Range:

The hourly range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $33.50 and $35.00 per hour. However, the wage offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
