Class 1 Driver

Full Time: 40+ hours per week

We are seeking experienced Class Drivers with deck experience to do P&D work out of our Stony Plain office.

Operate tractor-trailer (flat deck, primarily) to transport goods and materials, load and unload, load securement, electronic logs.

• Class 1 Driver’s License required with clean abstract.
• Must be familiar with manual transmission
• Must have Deck experience

• Ability to read/react to road conditions
• Manual dexterity
• Class 1 driver’s license
• Air brake endorsement
• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance
• Demonstrated organizational skills: strong oral and written communication abilities, task prioritization, use of timelines and time management techniques
• Professional/mature demeanour under stressful situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed

• Will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Overtime as required
