Sokil Transportation Group is a well-established, family-owned business specializing in transportation, logistics, and warehousing. With over 74 years of industry experience, we operate and maintain an asset-based fleet of 100+ power units and 300+ trailers, including Volvo, Freightliner, and International trucks for highway operations.

• Safely operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer combination on long-haul/highway routes.
• Manage deliveries across Western Canada with adherence to schedule and company standards.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and enroute safety inspections of the vehicle/trailer.
• Maintain accurate electronic logs in compliance with regulatory and company policies.
• Communicate with dispatch, maintenance, and customers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial driving laws and regulations, safety regulations, and company policies.

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license.
• Minimum 3-5 years of verifiable Canadian highway / long-haul driving experience, preference given to BC mountain driving.
• Clean driver’s abstract (4 demerits or less), a clean criminal record.
• No impaired driving charges within the last 5 years.
• Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• Experience with electronic logs and regulatory compliance.
• Robust commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to load, unload, inspect equipment, and handle cargo up to ~70–75 lbs as required.
• Good communication skills, reliable, punctual and understand and follow all federal hours of service regulations.
