SOUTHLAND Class 2S Driver Instructor

SOUTHLAND seeks a skilled Class 2S Driver Instructor to enhance driver training and education. Engage with trainees and current drivers, ensuring high standards in a supportive training environment. This full-time role involves conducting classroom sessions for new hires, daily driving skill assessments, and on-the-road evaluations.

Instructors will use Track It for monitoring training progress and be available to assist with any queries regarding training and development. You may also drive any school route needing coverage.

• Conduct classroom training for new driver trainees
• Assess driving skills daily through evaluations
• Perform on-the-road evaluations of trainees
• Track training progress using Track It
• Provide support for drivers’ inquiries and skill development

• Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with “S” endorsement
• Knowledge of Highway Traffic Act and Emergency Procedures
• Certified Class 2S Instructor
• Explicit 10-year commercial drivers abstract
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
