Class 1 Boom Truck Operator

Join our client’s Edmonton team as an experienced Class 1 Boom Truck Operator. This role involves operating mobile boom trucks on diverse heavy industrial projects in the area.

As a key player in the growing team, you will perform lifts using straight and articulating knuckle booms up to 80 tons. The position also offers company-funded schooling opportunities, promoting professional growth. Your responsibilities will include conducting safety inspections, maintaining equipment, and effectively communicating with project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive mobile boom trucks to various job sites

• Conduct pre-trip safety inspections on equipment

• Attend toolbox and safety meetings as needed

• Prepare daily work and mobile boom for safety compliance

• Maintain equipment and report any mechanical issues

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and Journeyman Boom Truck ticket

• Strong commitment to safety and maintenance standards

• Effective problem-solving and adaptive skills

• Excellent reliability and punctuality
