Gravel Truck Driver

Drive heavy gravel trucks with efficiency in Edmonton, AB. This full-time, permanent position offers $36.00 per hour while you manage cargo safety and perform vehicle maintenance.

As a Gravel Truck Driver, you will be responsible for loading and unloading goods, conducting vehicle inspections, and performing emergency roadside repairs. This role requires performing preventive maintenance and securing cargo with tarps. This position is strictly on-site, with no remote work options available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials effectively and safely

• Conduct thorough vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Perform emergency roadside repairs as needed

• Maintain accurate records of cargo and fuel consumption

• Ensure cargo security with proper tarping methods

Requirements:

• Class 1 or A Driver’s License required

• Secondary school graduation certificate obtained

• Experience in heavy trucking is an asset

• Must be a permanent or temporary resident of Canada

• Authorized to work in Canada
