Local Class 1 Driver

This position requires a dependable driver to transport freight locally and operate tractor-trailer equipment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in safety, customer service, and commercial driving regulations. You’ll perform vehicle inspections and maintain compliance with safety policies and hours of service regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate company vehicles for local freight transportation

• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Secure freight according to safety guidelines

• Accurately fill out e-logs and delivery paperwork

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 driver's license and recent driving experience

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract

• Strong understanding of load securement regulations

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as required

• Knowledge of Edmonton and surrounding areas
