In the S-61 Pilot in Command role, you will oversee safe flight operations, reporting directly to the Chief Pilot. Your leadership will be critical in a variety of missions including external load operations, emergency responses, and supporting fire suppression efforts. This position requires a strong working knowledge of FAA regulations and a commitment to excellent operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the safe operation of aircraft according to FAA regulations

• Analyze flight assignments and mission-specific needs carefully

• Ensure thorough preflight planning and aircraft inspections

• Maintain compliance with duty and flight time limitations

• Support and mentor crew members effectively

Requirements:

• FAA Commercial Rotorcraft License and Instrument Rating

• Minimum of 2,500 hours of PIC experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of FAA regulations

• Excellent interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent
