An Alberta-owned company, Can West Air/Alberta Central Airways (ACA) primarily serves the province of Alberta, connecting remote communities with critical services. We are proud to operate one of the largest and newest fleets of Cessna C208

Bs and Beechcraft King Airs in Canada. These aircraft provide Can West Air / ACA pilots the unique opportunity to fly state-of-the-art aircraft across a wide variety of locations.

Edmonton, Calgary, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Peace River, Lac La Biche, Slave Lake, Fort Vermilion, High Level, or Medicine Hat. Crew housing is provided at various bases.

Qualifications

To fly for Can West Air/ACA, King Air Captain applicants must meet the following basic requirements:

• 2,500 hours of fixed wing flying time, including:
  • 500 hours multi-engine
  • 100 hours multi-engine, PIC
• Ability to pass the Transport Canada medical and visual acuity requirements for a Category 1 medical certificate
• Canadian Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL), current Group 1 (Multi-engine) Instrument Rating
• Canadian passport or permanent resident status
• The ability to obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada, and to travel without restriction to the United States. Any required work permits/visas or other authorizations which may be required is the sole responsibility of the candidates applying for this position.
• Valid Class 5 Driver License (or equivalent)
• Valid First Aid Certificate (Basic + CPR, or equivalent)
