Position: Operations Supervisor for LTL Freight
Lead efficient freight operations at Steele's Transportation in Edmonton. As an Operations Supervisor, you will ensure compliance, manage dock teams, and optimize cross-dock usage.

Steele's Transportation Group is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily dock operations, enhance fleet management, and maintain driver compliance. This pivotal role requires strong leadership to drive safety standards and foster team performance. You will be responsible for onboarding drivers and ensuring an organized, efficient work environment at the dock.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise dock operations and staff workflow

• Schedule daily tasks and maintain compliance metrics

• Monitor fleet and driver performance closely

• Lead health and safety training initiatives

• Communicate effectively with all terminal stakeholders

Requirements:

• 5+ years in terminal operations

• Certified in Forklift and WHMIS

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods

• Familiarity with TMS/WMS systems preferred
