Drive the future of sustainable waste management as a Short Haul Driver for SECURE in Edmonton, AB. Your primary mission will be to transport metal materials safely and efficiently, supporting our recycling operations.
As a Short Haul Driver, you will join a dedicated team known for its strong safety culture and commitment to excellent service. This position requires a valid Class 1 or 3 license, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to navigate various driving conditions. You will ensure compliance with safety laws and maintain effective communication with dispatch to optimize your routes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Transport metal materials safely among various sites
• Follow all local and federal driving regulations
• Conduct inspections to ensure safety compliance
• Communicate effectively with dispatch
• Support recycling operations and perform maintenance as needed
Requirements:
• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver's license
• At least 5 years driving experience
• Experience with heavy-duty trucks and equipment
• Strong communication capabilities
• Capacity for physical tasks in loading and inspection
