Enhance Edmonton’s infrastructure as an Equipment Operator III!
Your role will focus on operating heavy machinery and ensuring the maintenance of roads, parks, and public areas year-round with a safety-first approach.
This position involves operating various heavy equipment like Graders and Loaders while performing daily inspections and maintenance tasks. Adaptability to general labour, litter collection, and supporting team operations will be key. Be a part of a community-oriented culture that prioritizes safety and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy machinery safely for maintenance tasks
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain equipment
• Support team operations through general labour when required
• Communicate effectively regarding site needs
• Comply with City safety and environmental standards
Requirements:
• At least completion of the 10th school grade
• Minimum of 2 years in heavy equipment operation
• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement
• Current certifications in First Aid, CPR-C, and AED
• Ability to handle outdoor work and shift rotations
